Plastfree is eager to support homeless in London and set to support ending period poverty wherever possible. We have partnered with The People project & Kate Shelley to support her vision to stand beside those in need.

The People Project

The People Project was started in 2017 by two teenagers from South London to give a platform for homeless people to share their stories alongside photos, with the aim of breaking down stigma and starting a discussion. Now 4 years on, Kate Shelley is single handedly running the project, alongside fundraising campaigns to help handout essential items, which have raised over £5,000 in total alongside donations, including those from PlastFree.
