Rhythms of Life a london based charity has been working relentlessly for the past 12 years to feed homeless. It is a 100% volunteer based organisation served over 943,200 meals saving over 563,700 kg of food from going into landfill.

They run a ‘Giving tuesday’ – Giving Tuesday is a day to give back by supporting a cause close to your heart or doing something good for your local community or someone in need. As a homelessness charity, we are striving to maintain our daily food distribution service for increasing numbers of rough sleepers. Times are particularly hard for homeless people right now with the streets in Central London deserted and the public facilities all closed. Any help you can give us will be much appreciated. At the moment, we are particularly looking for cash donations towards our running costs and volunteers to assist with food preparation and distribution.

Plastfree is eager to support them in their journey by donating period products as often as needed and started off the partnership by donating 100 boxes to the charity.

With increasing number of people affected by job losses and reaching out to food banks and shelters, it is ever more important to support our community and live consciously!!
